SKIPS: Skiers In Progress

SKIPS serves as a development program—teaching experienced water skiers the exciting skills unique to show skiing—as well as an evaluation on-ramp for skiers interested in joining the performance sector of the Carolina Show Ski Team.

From barefoot and ballet lines to teamwork and showmanship, SKIPS helps build the foundation needed to perform in a live ski show.

Although many of the current development team members are young, there is no age-related constraint for membership! Performance team members of all ages attend SKIP practices to coach upcoming members and to strengthen and develop their own skill set.

By the end of the season, SKIPS participants have the opportunity to perform in our Friday night community ski show and experience the thrill of being part of the Carolina Show Ski Team.
